The Bible – We believe the 66 books of the Bible make up God’s inspired, infallible, inerrant Word, which is our final authority over all matters of faith and practice.
The Trinity – There is but one living and true God, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Human Sinfulness – All human beings are sinners, by both birth and action.
Penalty for Sin – The penalty for sin is both physical and spiritual death. The unsaved who die in their sins will be separated from God forever in the lake of fire, which is the second death (Rev. 20:15).
The Nature of Christ – Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, equal in deity, born on earth of a virgin, performed miracles, and is both fully God and fully human, yet without sin.
The Cross of Christ – Jesus Christ died on the cross as a Substitute, paying the penalty for the sins of all who would believe on Him.
The Resurrection of Christ – Jesus Christ rose physically from the dead and ascended into heaven.
The Return of Christ – Jesus Christ will return at the Second Coming to judge the living and the dead: the redeemed to eternal life with Him; the unredeemed to eternal damnation.
Salvation by Grace Alone through Faith Alone – A person is saved, not by their own works, but by God’s grace alone through faith alone in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Baptism by Immersion – We practice baptism by immersion for those who give clear testimony of their conversion by faith in Christ.
Gifts of the Spirit – The Holy Spirit imparts spiritual gifts to believers for building up the church and various ministries in the world. The “sign-gifts” (speaking in tongues, healing, etc.) are not normative for the church today.
Marriage – God designed and intends marriage to be only between one biological male and one biological female for life.
