Galatians 2:17-21 I have broken the Law; I couldn’t keep it; so because God is holy and just, the death penalty had to be given for my sins. I had to die for God to be satisfied that my sins received the judgment they deserved. And that’s just what happened when I believed into Jesus. You see, Jesus died for me. Jesus died in my place. And because I’ve trusted in Jesus, God counts His death as mine.
