Galatians 1:18-24
As Paul reinforces that God is the Source of the gospel, I can’t help but see in this passage how it’s not the people who are so important here, but how God had changed their lives because of their faith in the risen Savior. Yes Peter was important: but not because of who he was but because Jesus had changed his life. So with James. So with the new Christians saved from Gentile backgrounds. So with the Jewish churches outside of Jerusalem. The risen Christ had changed so many many lives, none more remarkably than Paul’s.
