The Glory of God is the reason for everything we do. We want God’s Name to be magnified through all we do as a local church. IRBC is His church, and we only exist to make Him famous.
The Gospel is the Good News that although we all are sinners deserving His judgment, God so loved us that He sent His only Son to die in our place, raising Him from the dead, that we might be saved through faith in Him.
Expository Teaching and Preaching is the primary way we learn from God’s infallible, authoritative Word. By working our way through books of the Bible a few verses at a time, we learn God’s intended meaning of each passage in its original context. Great care is given to show how the timeless truths of Scripture apply to our lives today.
Grace and Love flow from God to us through the cross of Christ, and we strive to live out these attributes to one another in the church.
Serving is how Jesus led. He said, “even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45). At IRBC you won’t find any “big shots”, just Christians who are growing in their service to Christ and each other.
Missions happens when we drink in God’s salvation by grace, and then lift up our heads to say, “Ahh” to the nations. We are thankful for the fellow-servants God has allowed us to partner with in foreign missions.
